Copper has many advantages:

* can be used on metal and almost all hard materials
* recyclable
* can be washed in a dishwasher or even a washing machine (best put in a separate net to prevent damage to the washing machine)
* removes stubborn dirt
* scratch free
* antibacterial: these sponges are much more hygienic than the synthetic scouring sponges

These sponges will get rid of the stubborn stains on the dishes.
Always rinse out soap and dirt after use. The sponges can be washed in a dishwasher or washing machine.
Other dishwashing products include the plastic-free dish brush and the loofah sponges (the more gentle approach).
